Mahapatra resigns as CSB Bank independent director

KOCHI: Biswamohan Mahapatra has resigned as Independent Director of CSB Bank with effect from June 14, 2024. He said he was resigning from the post as he is not able to devote sufficient time for the work relating to his role as an Independent Director of the bank due to other personal and professional commitments. Mahapatra was appointed as an Additional Director (Non Executive & Independent) of the bank for a period of five years with effect from June 20, 2023 up to June 19, 2028, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
